It is a basic story and actually it gets overshadowed and mostly forgotten along the way. You see it has been a few years since Red took down Team Rocket and everything has remained relatively peaceful since then. They are a shell of the team they were in Pokemon Red/Blue. Along the way Team Rocket shows up, but they are not really a threat this time. You are a child and for whatever reason your mom and the local professor entrust you to travel the world with a level five Pokemon. Story As usual the Pokemon story remains the same.
